Son of Gaetan and Guylaine Prosper, Olivier-Maxence was born on July 3, 2002, in Montreal, Canada. Both of his parents played at Concordia University in Montreal and his mother played for Team Canada in 1997. In 2019, Prosper was named MVP of the 2019 Canadian All-Star Game and was also selected to the all-star roster of the NBA Academy Camp that year. He was a nationally ranked recruit in the class of 2020, spending his senior season at Lake Forest Academy in Illinois before transferring to the NBA’s Latin American Academy in Mexico City to conclude his high school career. Prosper spent three years in the NCAA playing for Clemson and Marquette and was the No. 32 prospect in the ESPN 100 ranking.
