Josh Broghamer joined the Dallas Mavericks as an assistant coach in August 2023. Before coming to Dallas, Broghamer worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers from the 2018-19 season to the 2022-23 season as both director of scouting and player development.
His other NBA experience includes working for the Milwaukee Bucks under Mavs Head Coach Jason Kidd from 2014-15 to 2017-18 as video coordinator and an assistant coach.
Broghamer got his start in the NBA in the video room of the Phoenix Suns during the 2013-14 season. He also has coaching experience from working the U16 USA Basketball camps and Adidas Euro Camp in Treviso, Italy.
Broghamer is from Iowa City, Iowa, and graduated from Northern Iowa University in 2013. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Laurel and son, Lee
