Friday evening, 50 kids from Rainbow Days boarded the FOX Sports Southwest Mavs Fan Express to The Hilton Anatole for a special visit from JJ, Monta, Devin and Raymond. After their dinner of chicken fingers and mac and cheese, and plenty of selfies with the players, Champ, ManiAACs and Mavs Dancers…the big man himself, Santa Claus, joined in on the fun. Santa read the Polar Express and the players passed out gifts to the kids. Once everyone received their presents, the players counted 1-2-3 and wrapping paper went flying into the air, accompanied by squeals of excitement. Kids received gifts from their wish list which included anything from Beats by Dre, to a bicycle or scooter, to Frozen movie memorabilia.
“I’m just happy to put a smile on these kids’ faces,” Devin Harris said. “This is what the holidays are all about.”
