DEC. 2, 2024 (DALLAS) – The Dallas Mavericks announced today that the Mavs Foundation will again allocate over $1 million to empower local children, women and families in need during the 2024-25 season. The funding will include grants, special projects, and emergency aid for nonprofits providing education and wellness programs, legal and counseling assistance, literacy and employment services, foster care support, supplies and gifts for refugee families, and continued assistance for disaster and relief efforts.

“The Mavs Foundation is excited to support these organizations and the much-needed programs they provide,” said Mavs Foundation President Katie Edwards. “We thank all of our donors and supporters who make these grants possible, along with the nonprofit staff and volunteers delivering the critical services for children and families across our communities.”
