Dear MFFLs,

I hope this update finds you well and in good health.  As we’re adhering to government mandates to shelter in place, we are taking this unexpected chapter in our lives one day at a time and doing our part to defeat this virus.  Many of us have had our “moments” as we temporarily adjust to working and living in a new way.

While the NBA hiatus continues, we are engaged in activities to make a difference in our local communities.  From providing meals to healthcare workers who are conducting onsite testing, to supporting a variety of nonprofits focused on the needs of seniors, children, and families, we are currently playing on a court that is bigger than basketball. Speaking of basketball, check out Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson with Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson as they remind us of the 5 things we all can do to stop the spread of the virus.

One of our top priorities during this unprecedented time is to be good community citizens by meeting as many needs as possible.  I hope you are inspired by the following stories and encouraged by the impact we can all make if we work together.

Mark Cuban – This is much bigger than basketball

Mavs Foundation & Maxi Kleber – We’re all in this together!

You can still find us active on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Twitch, so join us when you can.  We love hearing from you!  Tune into FOX Sports Southwest as they will be running replays of our biggest games. Your continued support means a lot and we look forward to getting back to basketball and rooting for our Mavs.

Finally, let me close by paying tribute to our healthcare workers and first responders who are on the frontlines sacrificing their lives for our health and safety.  We are proud of these courageous men and women and have hung a banner in their honor. They need our support and they need us to do our part to remain healthy.

Remember, we’re all in this together!
