DALLAS, TEXAS – The Dallas Mavericks and Tixsee have announced a three-year partnership to provide fans with an immersive ticket buying experience.
In January of 2015, The Dallas Mavericks partnered with Tixsee to debut an innovative ticket shopping experience. Since, Tixsee has tapped into the Mavericks’ ticketing partner, Ticketmaster, to provide new technology enabling fans to view available inventory and purchase tickets directly from the Mavs’ website.
Dallas Mavericks proprietor Mark Cuban believes the continued partnership with Tixsee demonstrates the franchise’s devotion to deliver an indelible and engaging experience to its fans.
“We aren’t in the business of selling tickets, we are in the business of selling unique and shared experiences,” Cuban said. “Tixsee’s product elevates ticketing technology, and further reinforces our commitment to creating memorable and entertaining experiences for our fans.”
The Mavericks are the first professional sports franchise to deploy Tixsee’s ticketing platform — a 360º panoramic virtual tour powered by Google Street View. Tixsee is the first to integrate primary ticket inventory into a fully immersive virtual tour of an arena that is comprised of 12,444 high-resolution panoramic photos stitched together to create 1,037 360º images.
“When we launched Tixsee it was our goal to partner with the Mavs first because of their emphasis on both fan experiences, and technological innovation,” Tixsee co-founder and CEO Brett Dowling said. “The Mavs partnership has been vital to our growth. In addition, we are planning further developments including mobile apps to extend beyond ticketing.”

About Tixsee:
Founded in January 2015, Tixsee is a Dallas-based fan experience technology company. Prior to Tixsee’s formation, the founders established three key goals for its first year: acquire an early customer, achieve general availability and do it without investor financing. In the company’s first month, Tixsee deployed a beta of its immersive venue application with the Dallas Mavericks — its early customer. Tixsee achieved its three strategic first-year goals after deploying its commercially available immersive ticketing application, below its projected budget.
