Program Overview

The Mavs Reading Challenge presented by Whataburger encourages the love of reading for students of all ages.

Students K-12 who read for 20 minutes a day for 40 days can earn cool prizes from the Dallas Mavericks and Whataburger!

The 2025 Reading Challenge runs from January 16 through March 17!

GET INVOLVED

Read more to win more! All students who log 20 minutes a day, for at least 40 days January 16 through March 17 will receive a Whataburger Completion Certificate, a Free Meal Coupon from participating Whataburger locations, and a Dallas Mavs Swag Bag!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Step 1: Download or Print Mavs Reading Challenge Presented by Whataburger Reading Log
Step 2: Complete reading log for at least 40 days, with a minimum of 20 minutes read each day!
Read more than 40 days and/or more than 20 minutes each day to have your chance at being in the top 20 students and receiving the grand prize!
Step 3: Once reading log is completed, fill out the 2025 Mavs Reading Challenge presented by Whataburger Completion Form below.
Step 4: Congratulations! You are a MFFL Super Reader! Be on the lookout for an email from the Dallas Mavericks by March 17 with prize delivery information or prize pickup instructions at your nearest library branch!
