The 2024 Western Conference Champions banner won’t be the only notable change fans see at American Airlines Center this season.
Before the Mavs’ home opener one week ago, the team unveiled the all-new Chime Lane, offering an enhanced experience for Chime members.
Chime, the team’s official Jersey Patch sponsor since 2020 and involved supporter of Mavs community initiatives, recently extended their sponsorship to connect with MFFLs like never before.
“We were pretty small and scrappy,” said Chris Brit, Chime co-founder & CEO, when reflecting on initial sponsorship discussions with the Mavericks. “We had an intern who happened to be my nephew, and we asked him to explore partnerships. He called a few teams, and next thing you know, we had a meeting set up with [Dallas Mavericks CEO] Cynt Marshall.
“We had instant chemistry with this organization, the culture, shared values, the grit, the hustle, the importance of community, teamwork, inclusivity. So many of those values resonated with us. So, we knew immediately— we didn’t tell the Mavs right away— but we knew instantly this was the match for us.”
As Chime and the Mavericks continue to evolve their sponsorship with a customer-first approach, the “#1 Most Loved Banking App in America” now offers VIP entry for members attending Mavs games and select AAC events.
The green-clad Chime Lane, positioned on the southeast corner of American Airlines Center, offers an elevated skip-the-line entrance along with various rewards, such as merchandise gift cards, free soft drinks and popcorn, and limited-edition giveaway items for select events.
At the season opener, for example, Chime members entered the sold-out arena in record time and received a bottomless bucket for popcorn. Fans who are not yet Chime members can join on-site for on-the-spot benefits.
Before the Mavs sealed their 120-109 win over the Spurs, Chime had one more surprise for five randomly selected Club Maverick Members (CMM).
Through the Chime Shoot 4 Your Season promo, with help from NBA shooting coach Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews, the CMMs drained a few shots, and Chime rewarded them all by covering the cost of their 2024-25 season tickets!
The excitement around the expanded sponsorship will continue to balloon as the organizations strive to positively impact North Texas communities while creating one-of-a-kind experiences for Mavs fans.
