MAVERICKS ANNOUNCE ROSTER AND SCHEDULE FOR NBA 2K24 SUMMER LEAGUE 2023
The Dallas Mavericks announced their NBA 2K24 Summer League 2023 roster presented by Celsius, as well as the practice and media availability schedule prior to the team’s departure to Las Vegas.
This will be the Mavericks’ 17th summer in Las Vegas, and the team will tip off the competition against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, July 8 at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2. Following the opener against the Thunder, Dallas will face Philadelphia (July 10), Golden State (July 12) and Indiana (July 14) before the date, time and opponent of the fifth game is determined.
The Mavericks’ summer league team features Jaden Hardy, the 37th overall pick of the 2022 draft, who tallied 20-or-more points in each of his first three career starts last season, becoming the first Maverick to ever accomplish that feat. Dallas’ Two-Way players from the 2022-23 season, AJ Lawson and McKinley Wright IV also highlight the squad, along with first-round selections from the 2023 draft Dereck Lively II (12th overall) and Olivier-Maxence Prosper (24th overall).
Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley will serve as the head coach of the club’s summer league squad. Clippers, Milwaukee, Washington, Brooklyn and the L.A. Lakers. Dudley was selected with the 22nd pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by Charlotte, and he spent the last two seasons of his playing career with the Lakers where he was a part of the team that won the 2020 NBA title.
Before the team makes the trip to Las Vegas, a mini camp will be held in Dallas at the team’s practice facility from July 4-6. A detailed schedule of practice and media availability times is below.
