DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2022-23 local television schedule today, which includes 71 regular-season games on Bally Sports Southwest and one on TXA 21.
Bally Sports Southwest’s coverage of the 2022-23 season tips off on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 9 p.m. CT when the Mavericks travel to the desert for a Western Conference Semifinals rematch against the Phoenix Suns. The broadcast will also include a 30-minute Mavs Live pregame show beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT.
As part of its coverage, the network will carry all four of the Mavericks’ meetings with Kawhi Leonard and the L.A. Clippers (Nov. 15, Jan. 10, Jan. 22 and Feb. 8), all four matchups with reigning two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets (Nov. 18, Nov. 20, Dec. 6 and Feb. 15), and all four contests against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies (Oct. 22, March 11, 13 and 20).
Bally Sports Southwest will also televise all three meetings with Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves (Dec. 19, Dec. 21 and Feb. 13), both matchups with Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets (Oct. 27 and Nov. 7), both showdowns with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (Nov. 27 and Dec. 9), and both meetings with Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks (Dec. 3 and 27). The Mavericks’ final matchup with Stephen Curry and the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors on March 22 will also be carried by Bally Sports Southwest.
The lone game on TXA 21 will come against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Dec. 17.

Mark Followill returns for his 18th season as television play-by-play announcer for all telecasts. Mavericks great Derek Harper is back for his 12th full season on the telecast as the team’s TV analyst, while Jeff “Skin” Wade enters his 14th season as an analyst. Bally Sports Southwest’s comprehensive coverage includes Mavs Live pregame and postgame shows, as well as a bi-weekly Mavericks Insider show.
The Mavericks’ flagship radio station, formerly known as 97.1 The Eagle, has become 97.1 The Freak and will continue to broadcast all Dallas games. Chuck Cooperstein returns for his 18th season as the radio play-by-play voice of the Mavericks, where he will again be joined on the broadcast by Mavericks great Brad Davis. Each game will also include 30 minutes of pregame coverage and at least 30 minutes of postgame coverage led by studio host Mike Peasley.
Dallas Mavericks basketball will also be available via live stream on iHeartRadio.com and the app.
Victor Villalba returns for his 18th year as the team’s Spanish play-by-play announcer and will continue to call the action on Zona MX 99.1 (KFZO).
